Movenglish is a physical exploration of how language can move—literally. In this workshop, dancers tap into the rhythm, tone, and texture of words, letting meaning spark new pathways through the body. Participants craft and refine their own movement “translations,” discovering how a single word can unfold into many distinct gestures. Through solo, duet, and group investigations, movers build a shared vocabulary, experiment across multiple languages, and shape short compositions drawn from collective material. The process centers curiosity, sensation, and creative agency, giving dancers fresh tools for embodying meaning and expanding their choreographic imagination.
